So, go for the dark purple or blue if you have a choice. And yes, make sure they have a fine white film over them – this suggests that they have not been over handled.

According to a study, dried plum consumption led to a 3.5 percent dip in total cholesterol and 8 percent dip in LDL cholesterol.

Dried plums are also rich in anti-cancer agents called neochlorogenic and chlorogenic acids.
